After five years in post, Barbara Saunders will soon be retiring as Secretary to Sutton Writers.
Barbara will continue until the next AGM (July 2020) but the committee support her idea that we should give her replacement time to get involved for the takeover. As Secretary, Barbara attends committee meetings and prepares the Agenda and the Minutes. She also does this for the AGM. Barbara also organises our competitions – entries are sent to the Secretary.
The new Secretary will be invited to attend the first committee meeting of 2020, on Tuesday, 7 January. This is an important role in Sutton Writers and Barbara has been a loyal and conscientious holder of the post.
